It is a luxury problem when there is so much to do, the company can't find time for in-house projects.

This problem has been a persistent one at Rafeyri for some time now and will be for some time longer.

The Becromal factory is coming along nicely and we continue to work hard at it. The factory is scheduled to be at full capacity before mid. next year.

Last August, The University of Akureyri celebrated the opening of their 4th expansion. Rafeyri ehf. is the electrical contractor for the project and is proud to have been a part of it. Even thoug the project has finished, Rafeyri is still busy finishing small details work for the final completion.

The Icelandic National Radio or RÚV will move their Akureyri operations to a new building at the university campus soon. Rafeyri has been very busy at the radio's new building.

At the Glerártorg mall, most spaces have now been utilized but in the fall two new shops, Pier and Europris moved to the building. Rafeyri took care of the electronics for both shops.

The Akureyri shipyard, Slippurinn have had few projects for us and there are many more on the horizon.
